Hey There

Hello! As someone who has also scoured the internet to find her own right fit therapist, I am so honored you're here!​

My path towards becoming a therapist was based in my own desire for better connections with my friends, my family, and myself. I was constantly seeking information to better understand myself and develop healthy relationships with those I cared most about. I read books, listened to podcasts, and was trying to implement what I had learned into my own life. I wanted to learn as much as I could about how relationships work and how communication with ourselves, others, and our environment impacts us. Through this self-study, I discovered my passion for learning about others and learning the best ways to implement change.

While this self-study took me so far on my personal journey, I still found myself struggling in early adulthood with issues that all the books and podcasts couldn't seem to make go away (Bummer, right?!). I took those struggles to a therapist, which was a scary step, and began talking about my experiences. Now, many years into my own therapy journey, I can confidently say that it has changed my life for the better. Knowing the importance therapy has had in my own life makes me that much more passionate about providing quality therapy to others.

Over the years, I have worked in various positions that have shown me the power of connecting with others. Whether it be as bartender in my hometown or working in a behavioral health hospital, all individuals are hoping to feel seen and heard and that is what I strive to provide in my role as a counselor.

In my free time, you'd likely catch me reading a fantasy novel on the couch with my partner while something is cooking in the oven. I enjoy yoga/pilates, leisurely perusing the grocery store, and finding a sweet pup or cat to snuggle up with (I don't currently have my own but hoping soon!).
